Marks of Good Usability!

• Is it Effective? 
  Is the product capable of doing what it is supposed to do?
  
  
• Is it Efficient? 
  Does it let people complete their tasks fast enough that it makes sense to do so!
  
  
• Is it Safe? 
  If you make a mistake, do you have a chance to correct it easily, or will the pictures of you at the club last night be sent to everyone in your address book?
  
  
• Does it have Utility
  Does the product let you do everything you might want to do on it?
  
  
• Learnability
  Can a user figure out what to do without you standing over their shoulder
  
  
• Memorability – this is a big one. 
  Once the user has used your product once, what are the chances they’re going to be able to remember what to do next time?
